Water Line Broken Along 904

Some county water customers along N.C. 904 are experiencing problems this afternoon.

A contractor bored through a water line in District One, leading to pressure loss and debris in the line, according to a county press release. Affected areas include Fowler Road, Cox Subdivision, and N.C. 904 from Lester Watts to New Life Church roads.

Consumers are advised to boil any water used for human consumption for one minute to remove possible contaminants.
