WARM Needs Volunteers Friday

Volunteers are needed for a Tabor City home project Friday.
The Wilmington Area Rebuilding Mission (WARM) repairs, rebuilds and improves homes for low-income homeowners in the Cape Fear region.
Many are elderly, disabled, or veterans. WARM makes it possible for residents to continue to live safely in their current homes.
Ms. Diana, as she is known, lives in. Tabor City. She is 61, and has limited mobility due to a back injury. Currently she prepares her meals on her porch, and lives in one room of her home.
Her mother, who is 80, drives Ms. Diana and takes her grocery shopping.
WARM has a work day planned for Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Ms. Diana’s home.
At least ten volunteers who are comfortable with basic construction work are needed.
Civic and church volunteer groups are also welcome.
