Wade Cherry Caines

Wade Cherry Caines, age 75 of Chadbourn, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, while in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, with family by his bedside.

Wade was born on August 26, 1947, son of the late William Richard Caines, Jr. and Hazel Mae Caines.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, William Richard Caines, III, George Caines and Carey Caines, and his sister-in-law, Brenda Caines.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Worthington Funeral Home with Pastor Willard McPherson officiating. Interment will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, at the funeral home.

Survivors include his brothers: Charles Caines (Iris), Edward Caines, Wesley Caines (Doris), Elton Caines (Sharon), all of Chadbourn; 14 Nieces & Nephews, and 32 Great- Nieces & Nephews.
