Two Homes Hit by Shots Saturday

Early morning gunfire struck two homes on Wright Road Saturday.

The sheriff’s office reported that Tamia Bellamy and Benjamin Watkins called 911 after being awakened by gunfire at around 2:35 a.m. Taniya Graham and a child were also in the home at the time. The home was hit multiple times according to the report.

While he was on the scene, the responding deputy walked to 3967 Wright Road and discovered that home had also been struck by gunfire. Tanisha Bellamy and two children were in the home when she heard “multiple gunshots”, the report said.

No one was injured, and the shootings are under investigation.
