Tracey Faulk Brooks, 41, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
She was born April 2, 1981, in Whiteville, daughter of Cathy (Godwin) Reid and James C. Faulk, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Jason Brooks of the home; two daughters, Taylor Melette Faulk and Payton Rayne Brooks, both of the home; one stepbrother, Ethan Dudney of Tabor City; her father, James C. (Vicky Kay) Faulk, Jr.; her mother, Cathy (Godwin) Reid of Tabor City; mother and father-in-law, Marilyn and Stancil Brooks of Lumberton; brother and sister-in-law, Archie and Kimberly Brooks of Lumberton; one nephew, Kenley Brooks; three nieces, Sidney Benton, Sequoia Locklear, and Jasa Brooks; two special friends, Jamie Livingston and April Thompson; her loving softball family; and her faithful puppy, Jax.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James C. and Mary Kathryn Faulk and maternal grandparents, Lee Melette Godwin and Ruth Godwin.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 13, 2022, in the Inman Ward
Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in the Dulah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home.
