Three More Jailed for Shootout

Three more suspects have been arrested in connection to a gunfight in Whiteville last week.


One man was injured in the Jan 12 incident. Whiteville Police Officers responded to the area of MLK Jr. Avenue and West Lewis Street for a reported “Shots Fired” call around 3:30 p.m. Brice Pridgen was arrested for that incident.


Chief Douglas Ipock said the Investigation revealed several other suspects in the incident.


“The Whiteville Police Department Officers have worked tirelessly since the shooting incident occurred to find those that were responsible,” he said in a press release.


The investigation led to the arrest of three suspects on Jan. 17.



Antonio Alex Dobie was charged with discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling, and going armed to the terror of the public. Bond was originally set at $10,000 secured.


Bradley O’Brian Pridgen was charged with discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling, and going armed to the terror of the public, Bond was originally set at $1,000,000 secured.

- Brayshaun Zachary Davis was charged with discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling, and going armed to the terror of the public, bond was originally set at $1,000,000 secured.
