Three Charged with Prostitution
Detectives working on an unrelated case made three arrests for prostitution Monday.
Grace Georgette Aldridge, 24; Natesha Barnes, 29; and Destiny Mardennie McNair, 27, were arrested on charges of soliciting, according to sheriff’s office arrest reports. McNair was also charged with sale and delivery of marijuana.
Aldridge listed her address as 1425 Airlie Road, Wilmington. She was released on a $1,000 secured bond. Barnes gave her address as 625 Red Bug Rd., Hallsboro. Her bond was set at $750. McNair’s address was listed as 516 Mill Quarters Rd., Hallsboro. Her bond was $2,500 secured.
Vice-Narcotics detectives were working on an unrelated case at the Holiday Motel when they were approached by the three women offering sex for money, the report said. One also sold a quantity of marijuana to an undercover officer.
