SCC Winter Wonderland Gallery

It was a cold Saturday morning, but the weather was perfect for the Southeastern Community College Winter Wonderland event. Vendors, food trucks, staff, and guests flocked to the school to see some educational celebrities take a polar plunge all in the name of charity.

The Frosty Freezer Fundraiser produced over $9,000 for the SCC Student Ambassadors. Dr. Sylvia Cox, the winner of the event, was saved from the cold February waters of the dunk tank, and Dr. Chris English, the second place contestant, was a good sport and took the dive twice after being rooted on by the crowd.

The day also included several kids' crafts and games, bouncy houses, music, and snow machines.
