Richard Allen Wilson, 84, of Bolton, NC, died Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

The funeral will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 11, at Green Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 14853 Sam Potts Highway, Bolton, NC, by Pastor Timothy Moss. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Restwell Cemetery #1.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Wednesday 30 minutes prior to and following the service.

Surviving are his son, Richard Wilson, Jr. of Bolton, NC; brothers, John Wilson, Jr. of St. Albans, NY, Frank Wilson of Bolton, NC, William Trent Wilson of Fairfield, CA, and Frederick Wilson of Wilmington, NC; sisters, Mildred English of Hillside, NJ, Mary Rush of Whiteville, and Ollie Griffin of Cleveland, OH.
