Octavia Tara George, age 44 and formerly of the Mount Olive Community, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, at her home in Hope Mills.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, located at 5548 Silver Spoon Road in Whiteville, by Pastor Timothy A. Lance. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. and at the church Wednesday following the service.
Surviving is her sister Kehaulani George of Whiteville.
