Mr. Herbert Lee Frink

Mr. Hebert Lee Frink 87, of Chadbourn passed on Friday, March 17, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Deacon Maurice Archie Frink and Mrs. Hettie Hardee Frink of Columbus County.

Mr. Frink was preceded in death by his oldest grandson: Herbert Marsail Quinn and siblings: Willie Frink, Robert Frink, Curtis Frink, Bradie Frink, Perry Frink, Lucille Frink, Mary Frink, and Minnie Frink.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 12:00 noon from St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 888 Tommie Wooten Road, Chadbourn, with pastor Rev. Darryl Hardy. Mr. Frink's children will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Belvue Cemetery, 1055 Clarendon Chadbourn Road.
Mr. Frink is survived by his wife of 65 years: Mrs. Helen Green Frink; five children: Eldress Van G. LeSane, Mrs. Deloris Frink Chavis, Pastor Lester Frink, Sr., (Marsha C. Frink), Evangelist Betty F. Sturdivant (Rev. Eugene Sturdivant) all of Chadbourn; Mrs. Velvet Frink Watson (Bill Watson) of Greensboro; two sisters: Mrs. Ethel Kimble of Philadelphia, Pa., and Ms. Donna Frink of Chadbourn; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, one sister-in-law: Mrs. Lucy Frink, one brother-in-law: Mr. Robert Williams, Sr., and a host of relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, and again on Wednesday one hour prior to the services.
