McMillian replaces Aaron Herring

Former Highway Patrol Trooper and County Commissioner Jerome McMillan is the new Chief Deputy at the Sheriff's office.

McMillian replaces Aaron Herring, who has been moved to a bailiff position.

McMillian said he was appointed to the post by Sheriff William Rogers at 1 p.m. Friday.
