Mammals Past and Present at Museum

It's all about mammals this month at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences in Whiteville, and there is one event left before the new year. Join educators as they present Mammals Past and Present virtually via Zoom.

Learn about the evolution of mammals by seeing bones from prehistoric creatures to present animals. You will even get to meet some yet-unnamed specimens of the earliest proto-mammals.

This virtual program is geared towards children ages 5-12 in the ecoEXPLORE citizen science program for children. Current ecoEXPLORERs will earn five points for this program.

Registration is required. Visit https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZUkc-yprz4uE9d9XBsUFhDYqhq0Fu05iTjY.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. For more information about this event, call the museum at 910.914.4185.

The N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. and can be found at 415 South Madison Street in Whiteville.
