Louise Strickland, 86, died Thursday, March 16, 2023, at her residence after an extended illness surrounded by her family.
She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Lottie Simmons and the widow of the late Ralph Strickland.
She is survived by daughters, Sherry Brown of Cerro Gordo and Alison (Dennis) Rouse of Cerro Gordo. Also, surviving are six grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and a sister; Irene Daniel of Beaverdam.
Louise is also predeceased by four brothers, three sisters and three sons; Bryan, Jesse, and Mike.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023, in the Spring Branch Baptist Church, Nichols, S.C.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Committal will follow in the Strickland Family Cemetery.
