Leanna Mathis Edge 86 of Whiteville transitioned into eternal rest on January 17, 2023.

Survivors are: son: Antoine Edge, brother: Cedric Mathis, sisters: Denise Johnson, Margaret Slaughter and Caralene Lewis, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Memorial in Cerro Gordo, NC.
