Early Vote Totals Top 10,012

One stop polls closed at 3 p.m. Saturday, with 812 early voters following Friday's record number of 1,100 ballots. For the entire period, 10,012 of the county's more than 36,000 registered voters cast their ballot early.

Friday’s total was by far the biggest day. On Oct. 20, the first day of early voting, 877 voters took advantage of the early option. Saturday's final came in third at 812.

Election Day is Tuesday. Only registered voters may cast a ballot Tuesday, and those ballots must be cast in the voter home precinct. Polls will be open 6:30 a.m. until 7 p.m.

• North Lee’s – Pleasant Plains Church

• Nakina – Nakina-Bug Hill Senior Center

• NW Whiteville – North Whiteville Fire Department

• Columbus County Board of Elections

• Ransom Event Center

South Whiteville – Abundant Life Church

South Williams – Tabor City Courthouse

• Tatum – WOW Lodge 1088

• Waccamaw – Lake Waccamaw Fire Department

• Welches Creek Fire Department

• Whiteville 1 – Whiteville Rescue Unit

• Whiteville 2 – Vineland Station

• Williams 1 – Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church

• Williams 2 – Lebanon United Methodist Church
