Joy Michelle Chaney, age 47, of Tabor City, NC, died Sunday, November 6, 2022 in the McLeod Loris Hospital. Born December 20, 1974 in Bladen County, NC, she was the daughter of Edward Steve Tyndall of Bolivia, NC and the late Barbara Kaye Brisson.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, James David Chaney of the home; two daughter, Kayla Hope Tyndall of Raleigh, NC and Olivia Faith Tyndall of Tabor City; two sons, Ronald Holmes Stewart of Tabor City, NC and Steven Michael Stewart of Whiteville, NC; one sister, Emily Nicole Tyndall of Elizabethtown, NC; and four grandchildren, Jaxson Tyndall, Barbara Sellers, Morgan Stewart and Alanna Gore.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
