Jimmy Crawford age 77 of Chadbourn, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022, at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Columbus County in Whiteville, North Carolina surrounded by his loving family.

Jimmy was born on July 14, 1945 to the late James Crawford and Margie Yates. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carson Yates and JC Crawford and his sister, Bernice Crawford Inman(Bobby).

Viewing will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at D&A Funeral Chapel, 212 South Wilkes Street, Chadbourn.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022, at United Holy Temple Church, 301 E 1st Ave, Chadbourn with Bishop Ronald Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Belvue Cemetery 1055 Clarendon-Chadbourn Road, Chadbourn.

The family will greet family and friends at 201 Church Street, Chadbourn.

Survivors include his children, Jose Baker and Sandra Crawford; four grandchildren, Malik, Jerome, Jermia, and Mario; one great-grandchild Dakota; three brothers, Benny Crawford, John Crawford and Jerry Crawford; a sister, Barbara Crawford; nephews, Tony McFadden, Jeffrey Crawford and Christopher Crawford; nieces Wanda Crawford, Angela Crawford Frink, Barbara Crawford, and Trina Crawford. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
