Gerald Milos Mestyanek

Gerald Milos Mestyanek age 91, of Brunswick and formerly of Halcott Center, New York went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022 at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Darrin Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. prior to the service at Worthington Funeral Home.

He was the husband of the late Nora Frances Roberts Mestyanek and the son of the late Milos John Mestyanek and Ella Marie Deamer Mestyanek. He was also predeceased in death by two children, Marie Achsh Bergmann, and Roger John Mestyanek.

Mr. Mestyanek honorably served his country in the United States Army and later employed by New York City as the Chief Engineer of the Schoharie Reservoir, retiring in 1986. Mr. Mestyanek was a Mason in Lodge 389 in Margaretville, NY.

To cherish his memory he leaves two children, Linda Ann McMullen of Kerhonkson, NY and Lester Gerald Mestyanek of Newburgh, NY; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Roberts of Asheboro, NC; 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
