Georgiana Richardson

April 26, 1972 – Jan. 29, 2023 (age 50)

Georgiana Richardson, 50, went home to her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center in Whiteville.

Georgiana was born April 26, 1972, in Columbus County. She graduated from Whiteville High School in 1990 and worked in the retail field for many years. Most recently, she was department manager at Walmart in Brownwood, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dewey Allen Richardson; paternal grandmother, Luella Strickland; and maternal grandparents, George and Lucille Green

Georgiana’s bubbly personality and happy-go-lucky attitude were infectious. Loud and boisterous, Georgiana never met a stranger and loved unconditionally and without judgment. She was strong and resilient in every aspect of her life and fought hard through her battle with cancer.

Georgiana is survived by her parents, Doris and Kim McKeithan of Whiteville; her sister, Ginny Huntington (Michael) of Apex; her brother, William Richardson (Anna) of Whiteville; her sister, Kimberly Newcomb (Steve) of Windham, Maine; and her fiancé, Trevor McKee and son, Allen, of Whiteville. Georgiana took pride in being aunt to her beloved nieces and nephews: Alexis Huntington, Emily Huntington, Zachary Huntington, Riles Richardson, Porter Grace Richardson, and Jada Messer.

A private graveside ceremony will be held at Flynn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Donayre Cancer Center. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude for the love, comfort and care given to Georgiana, as well as her family, by Dr. Fink and his wonderful staff.
