Frances Elaine (Pridgen) Hill

Mrs. Frances Elaine Pridgen Hill 75, of Whiteville passed on Monday, October 31, 2022 in Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Angel House, Whiteville.

She was born on November 20, 1946 in Pamlico County, NC the daughter of John Pridgen and Lydia Tompkins Pridgen.

Frances was formerly employed as a medical technologist with Columbus Regional Healthcare. She received her Bachelors Degree from East Carolina University.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Lee Hill, Sr.; a son Daniel Lee Hill, Jr. (Monique) of West Jordan, Utah; two daughters, Sara Frances Hill Nobles (Joey) of Roxboro, Lydia Elaine Hill Bridgman (Mike) of Ft. Myers, FL; three sisters, Marie Fenner, Carroll Kornegay and Beverly Terry, all of New Bern; grandchildren, Jacob Nobles, Noah Nobles, Sarah Louise Bridgman, Alex Bridgman, Luke Daniel Hill and Jeannie Frances Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Gabriel Leland Hill.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Peacock's Chapel by Rev. Stephen Bailey. Interment will be in Flynn Cemetery.
