Early Voting Tops 4,000 Ballots
The pace slowed slightly on Wednesday, but early voting remains steady in Columbus County.
As of Wednesday at close of business, 655 ballots had been cast across the county, bringing the total so far to 4,191.
The county Board of Elections office saw 344 Wednesday, Chadbourn 95, Tabor City 87, Ransom 84, and Fair Bluff 30.
Polls open daily at 8 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m., except for Nov. 5, when voting ends at 3 p.m. Election Day is Nov. 8.
