Donald Phillip Currie, Sr.

Donald Phillip Currie Sr. age 94, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at his home. He was born June 6, 1928, in Whiteville, a son of the late Duncan McKoy Currie and Flaudia Currie.

Mr. Currie was Past Master of Lebanon Lodge 207 in Whiteville and received his 50-year pin in September of this year. He was a member of the Scottish Rite.

He is survived by two sons, Phil Currie and Darren (Shelly) Currie, all of Whiteville and two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Drake.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sarah; one brother, Neil Currie; and one sister, Thelma Harrelson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, in Lebanon Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, November 22, 2022, in Inman Ward Funeral Home in Tabor City.
