David Anthony Dennis

December 14, 1967 ~ October 27, 2022 (age 54)

David Anthony Dennis, age 54 of Chadbourn, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Whiteville.

Mr. Dennis was born on December 14, 1967, in Rockingham. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Albert Dennis, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 31, 2022, at Living Word Church, with Pastor Ron Fields officiating. Interment will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-1:50 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.

David was an active member of Living Word Church, where he served primarily in the music ministry department. He was a graduate of Southeastern Community College, obtaining his electrical engineering degree. He was employed by Vision Masters in Whiteville, serving as an optician apprentice.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Dawn Marie Adams Dennis; children, David L. Dennis of Whiteville, Jessica Dennis (Justin Harrelson) of the home; mother, Linda Dennis of Burgaw; grandchildren, Daylin Bryan, Londyn Harrelson; sister, Delores Mills (Roger) of Rockingham; brother, Tony Dennis (Lynn) of Laurinburg.
