Cory Alexander Griffin, 27, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, in Columbus Regional Medical Center in Whiteville. He was born August 15, 1995, in Wilmington, NC, a son of Angela Griffin and Terrence Campbell.
He is survived by his mother of the home; his father of Wilmington; two brothers, Kendil Rhodes of the home and Braelin Ladon Jones of Wilmington; his maternal grandmother, Carolyn Hamilton (Donald) of Tabor City; his paternal grandmother, Annette Webb of Leland, NC; three aunts, Lynn Griffin of Tabor City, Reta Campbell of Leland, and Shnell Campbell; one uncle, Calvin Pompey (LaTonya); and numerous cousins and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Chris Griffin.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 30, 2022, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, with military honors, will follow at 2:00 PM in the Florence National Cemetery, Florence, SC.
