Colleen McRae Gomez, 63, of 103 Covey Run, Whiteville, died Sunday, March 5, 2023, at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, N.C.

The Funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville by Pastor Robert D. Williams. Burial will be in the Pickett Memorial Park.

Viewing will be at the funeral home Sunday one hour prior to the service at which time the family will receive friends.

Surviving are her husband, Marcel Gomez of Arizona; sons, David R. Smokes of Baltimore, MD and Danion Smokes of Wendell, N.C.; sister, Geneva McRae of N.Y.; brothers, Johnny McRae, James Kemp, Marshall McRae, Gregory McRae, and Phillip McRae of N.Y., Charles McRae of Zebulon, N.C., and Zannie McRae of Charlotte, N.C.
