Chadbourn Shooting Victim Airlifted

A shooting in Chadbourn this evening sent one victim to the hospital.

Police Chief Ken Elliot said officers responded to the 100 block of Pine Street at 4:50 p.m. today (Friday). One person was found suffering from a gunshot wound.

The individual was transported to Columbus Regional, then airlifted to New Hanover.
