Bennie Paul Hammonds, Jr., better known as “Bud”, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022, in Whiteville, NC.

Bud was born on March 30, 1974, in Lumberton, NC. He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Paul Hammonds, Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Arthur & Gladys Hammonds, and his maternal grandparents, Elbert & Gertrude Williamson.

Bud was a graduate of Whiteville High School, class of 1992. Upon his graduation from High School, Bud attended North Carolina State University, obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree; he later began working as a pipe fitter in the construction industry.

Bud leaves behind his loving mother, Christine Williamson Hammonds on Longs, SC and his siter, Kimberly Hammonds Johnson of Holly Springs.
