Beatrice D. Wooten, age 62 of Whiteville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Born in Columbus County on September 22, 1960, Beatrice was the daughter of the late James Mayo Wooten and Inez Brown Wooten. She was also preceded in death by her siblings and other relatives.
Viewing will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm on Friday, November 4, 2022, at D&A Funeral Chapel, 212 South Wilkes Street, Chadbourn, North Carolina.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 4313 Joe Brown Hwy N. Whiteville, North Carolina with Pastor Ricky Mason eulogist. Burial will follow the service at Maxfield Family Cemetery.
Beatrice leaves behind her son Kermit Wooten; two grandchildren Kenneth Wooten and Katilyn Wooten; three brothers Tommy Brown(Vernell), Quincy Wooten(Antoinette), and Abram Wooten (Barbara); a sister Essie Mae Wooten; a brother-in-law Wayland Willamson, Sr; and a sister-in-law Belinda Gale Wooten. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive guests at 591 McMillian Road, Whiteville, North Carolina.
