Southeastern Community College (SCC) will be partnering with a cutting edge information technology company to hire IT specialists locally. Provalus hopes to expand to Columbus County and bring more than 200 jobs to the area.

SCC leaders said Provalus coming to Columbus is a positive step in the right direction.
“It’s a really great opportunity for workforce development,” said president of SCC Dr. Chris English. “It will also be a huge asset to the community.”

elevated high-aptitude individuals from jobs at retail stores and gas stations to careers as technical support analysts, network operations and cyber security analysts, system engineers and more. Provalus is fueling a new era of technology talent equipped to strengthen America’s future and leave a positive legacy for the next generation.
The first day of the job fair will be on Thursday, July 13, any time from 3 – 8 p.m. and on Friday, July 14, any time from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Southeastern Community College in the Advanced Manufacturing Training Center.
