Graduations Set at Local High Schools

Graduation days are set for local high schools in Columbus County. The last day of school will be on Friday, June 9, with early release at 1 p.m. The early college, Columbus Career and College Academy, had their final day of school on Wednesday, May 24.

West Columbus High School will hold their graduation ceremony tomorrow, Friday, June 9, at 6 p.m. The school is located at 7294 Andrew Jackson Highway Southwest in Cerro Gordo.

South Columbus High School seniors will have their commencement on Saturday, June 10, at 10 a.m. SCHS can be found at 40 Stallion Drive in Tabor City.

East Columbus Junior/Senior High School will also have their convocation on Saturday, June 10, but it will be held later in the evening at 6 p.m. ECJ/SHS’s address is 32 Gator Lane in Lake Waccamaw.

For those unable to attend any of the events, live streams will be available on multiple platforms. They can be viewed on the Columbus County School’s webpage at https://www.columbus.k12.nc.us., the CCS YouTube channel, the CCS Facebook page, each high school’s Facebook page, and the CCS Connect app.
