Ray J. Kollmar age 84, died Monday, October 10, 2022 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC. 

Ray Joseph Kollmar, 84, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022, in Whiteville. He was born June 4, 1938, in Buffalo, NY, son of the late Joseph J. Kollmar and Mildred Eckl Kollmar.

Mr. Kollmar was a retired veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by one daughter, Melisha Kollmar Russell (LaGrande) of Hallsboro, NC; two sons, John Andrew Kollmar and Ricky James Kollmar, both of Fayetteville, NC; his fiancé, Joyce Boatman of Fayetteville; two sisters, Clarie Galczynski of Depew, NY and Jean Seager of Rochester, NY; three grandchildren, John Wesley Kollmar, Jordan Kollmar, and Brier Russell; and one great-granddaughter.

Inurnment will be held later in the columbarium at Arlington National Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Angel House Hospice Care Center – Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
