Ladinceo Durelle “Rell” Holland, age 44 of Cerro Gordo, slipped into eternal rest on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

Rell, as he was lovingly known, was born on July 9, 1978. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Leon Holland.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Worthington Funeral Home, with Pastor Charles Dudley officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery.

The family will speak to friends from 2:00-2:45, prior to the service on Friday.

Rell was an avid Carolina Tar Hills fan and also loved karaoke. Rell was a “Mama’s boy”…. One of Rell’s favorite sayings was “You’re my favorite person.” He fought a good fight and is now at rest. 

Survivors include his wife, Alyssa Marie Nobles Holland of the home; his mother, Mary Noel Graham Holland of Chadbourn; three sisters; one brother; and his fur baby, Jade.
