Patricia Johnson Carter, 88, of Whiteville passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022. She was born in Hertford County, the daughter of the late Edwin Grover and Lillian Gertrude Johnson. She was the widow of the late Sidney Carter.
She is survived by two brothers, Johnnie N. Johnson of Greer, SC and Kenneth M. Johnson of Orange, TX; a niece, Allison Johnson Bagwell of Piedmont, SC and a great-great nephew, Davis Keith Worley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Ethel Gertrude Johnson Dakus, a brother, Robert Elmer Johnson and a great-niece, Cassi Leigh Clark.
