James Charles Pittman, Jr. age 40 of the Beaverdam community in Chadbourn, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

Jamie, as he was lovingly known, was born on October 3, 1981, in Whiteville, NC. He was preceded by his father, James Charles Pittman, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Ricky Donaldson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Original Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Clarkton.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.

Survivors include his children, Riley Elizabeth Pittman and Julian Chase Pittman; mother, Amaryllis June Soles of Chadbourn; sister, Wendy Jeanine Summerlin (Phillip) of Topton, NC; niece, Ashton Cook and her husband, John and two great-nephews, Lucas and Knox Cook.
