Couple Charged with Felony Child Abuse

A visit by Social Services led to the arrest of a Tabor City-area couple.

Jail reports show Lyndsey Taylor Johnson, 25, and Michael Lynn Soles Jr., 24, were arrested on two counts each of felony child abuse, resulting in serious injuries. Bond was set at $50,000 for each suspect.

The sheriff’s office reported that the Department of Social Services performed a well-check investigation on the children, ages one and two, on Tuesday.
