Charles Edward Singletary, age 80, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, August 6, 2022.  Charles was born in Columbus County on January 8, 1942 to the late Dewitt Talmadge Singletary and Addie Mae Wright Singletary. 

He served his country in the United States Coast Guard.  He worked as a farmer on his own farm.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife; Lois Housand Singletary of Tabor City, a son; Charles E. “Eddie” Singletary II of Tabor City, a son/grandson; Walker Singletary also of Tabor City., and a sister; Susie S. Sproul of Whiteville, NC

There will be a graveside service for Charles on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 10:00 am in the Powell Cemetery with Rev. Billy Ward officiating.
