The Columbus County Shrine Club will be having their annual golf tournament on Friday, April 22 at the Land-O-Lakes Golf Course.
Registration will begin at 10 a.m., and 11 a.m. is the shotgun start. The cost is $200 per team, or $50 per person.
Participants will also have the chance to win a car or truck for a hole-in-one sponsored by Wilson’s Auto Sales in Hallsboro. Prizes for closest to the pin and longest drive will also be awarded. Hundred-dollars-a-hole sponsorships are also available and encouraged. Four player teams will be played in a “Captain’s Choice” format.
Land-O-Lakes Golf Course is located at 2950 Bill Hooks Rd., Whiteville. Those interested in playing or sponsoring are asked to call Matt Wilson at 910.918.0528, or Trevor Sellers at 910.284.0066 with your team names as soon as possible. Proceeds benefit Shrine Club activities, and payments are not deductible as a charitable contribution.
