Ribbon Cut at New WHS Facility

The new entry to the school served as a backdrop for Tuesday's ribbon cutting.

Officials from the city schools were joined by local dignitaries this morning for the official opening of the first phase of the new Whiteville High School.

The ongoing project is adding classrooms, a new weight room, and specialized labs to the venerable campus. The new entrance makes use of the original arched gateway on Lee Street.
Renovations and upgrades are continuing throughout the campus.
