1/20/22 Sports Wrap Up 

NBA Yesterday’s Scores: Hornets defeat the Celtics 111-102. Lamelo Ball put in a triple-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Terry Rozier had a double-double and led all scorers with 28 points and 10 assists. Mason Plumlee grabbed 10 boards to help the Hornets and Kelly Oubre Jr. Scored 18 points.  

76ers beat the Magic 123-110 

Nets squeak by the Wizards 119-118. Kyrie Irving led the Nets with 30 points, he also had 7 assists and 3 rebounds. James Harden had 18 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. 

Trail Blazers couldn’t handle the Heat 104-92 

Timberwolves lost at the Hawks 134-122 

Bucks beat the Grizzlies 124-116. Ja Morant had a double-double with 33 points, 14 assists and 8 rebounds for the Grizzlies. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 33 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists for the Bucks. 

Cavaliers lost to the Bulls 117-104 

Spurs beat the Thunder 118-96 

Raptors fall to the Mavericks 102-98. Luka Doncic with 41 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. 

Jazz lost to the Rockets 116-111 

Clippers fall to the Nuggets in overtime 130-128. Nikola Jokic has a big game with a triple double. Jokic scores 49 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. 

Pistons over the Kings 133-131 

The Lakers lost to the Pacers 111-104. LeBron James had 30 points and 12 rebounds for the Lakers. Domantis Sabonis had a triple-double with 20 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

The North Carolina A & T Aggies beat UNC Ashville 73-71. Drew Pember had 20 points for the Aggies. Demetric Horton had 17 points, David Beatty had 15 points and Marcus Watson scored 14 points for the Bulldogs. 

Western Carolina lost to Furman 88-50 

Wake Forrest over Georgia Tech 80-64 

North Carolina State lost 62-59 to Virginia Tech

Charlotte at North Texas 7pm 

Coastal Carolina travels to Georgia Southern 7pm
