On Friday the new Grapeful Harvest Winery in Whiteville had its Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Celebration. Many local dignitaries and chamber members were on hand at the 4pm ribbon cutting to wish owner Jimmy Parker all the best on his new business venture. Jimmy is no stranger to Whiteville residents, having ran many restaurants in the area. He told the crowd that this is a great place for friends to get together, relax, unwind, and enjoy a glass or two of the wine.

After the ribbon cutting, the public was invited to the Grand Opening Celebration from 6-9pm with free food and music by local musician Ronnie Fisher. Grapeful Harvest Winery is located at 32 Hills Plaza in Whiteville and is open to the public Tuesday – Saturday from 4pm to 9pm. You can book your private event there by calling 910-918-3528.
