James McArthur Duncan “Little Mac”, age 51 of the Beaverdam Community, died suddenly on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

Little Mac was born on April 16, 1970. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vennie Jane Culberson Duncan, and a granddaughter, Zoey Britt.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021 at McPherson Cemetery in Chadbourn; Pastor Buddy Seay will officiate. 

Little Mac worked in the construction industry as a residential contractor/carpenter.

Little Mac is survived by his wife, Misty Ann McGlawn Duncan of the home; children, Matthew Duncan of Myrtle Beach, Madison Duncan of Chadbourn; step-children, Katelyn Noble of Chadbourn, Chariti Noble of Chadbourn, Khameron Noble of Southport; father, McArthur Duncan of Chadbourn; brother, Floyd Charles Duncan (Shonda) of Chadbourn; step-siblings, Liz Edwards of Tennessee, Floyd Watts of Tennessee, and Randy Watts of Florida; grandchildren, Callie, Caselynn, and Khloe.
