The sheriff’s office is looking for a missing man who left an Evergreen home yesterday and hasn’t been seen since.

William Derrick Dixon, 64, is a Native American male, with salt and pepper hair and a white goatee. He was wearing a white tee shirt and jogging pants when he was last seen. Dixon was driving a gray 2015 Chevrolet Equinox with the tag number HD5399K.

Dixon left the residence around 8:30 a.m. on Macedonia Church Road around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, intending to go to a business in Lumberton. The sheriff’s office said he never made it to the business, and did not return home.

Anyone with information about Dixon or his vehicle is asked to call 642.6551.
