Beverly Ann Strickland Simmons, age 53, of Whiteville, died Thursday, September 9, 2021 in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, Whiteville.  Born June 21, 1968 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Strickland and Joanne Bessant Strickland.

She is survived by one son: Tony Legrande Norris of Tabor City; one grandson: Owen Reid Norris; one brother: Randy Strickland of Clarendon; one sister: Pam Strickland of Whiteville; and one step-brother: Andy Nealey of Nakina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son: Timothy Wayne Simmons; and one brother: Rodney Strickland.

No services will be held.
