Women’s Adventure Day to take place in October

There’s nothing like getting together with a group of your peers and doing some of the things that you love. A fun-filled Women’s Adventure Day is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bummin’ Hole Lodge. 

The event is sponsored by the Columbus Baptist Association, and all ladies are welcome.

The cost will be $10 per person, and ladies of all ages are invited to attend. Activities include hatchet throwing, fishing, skeet shooting, archery, and pistol shooting. All equipment will be provided at the lodge except fishing poles and tackle. Bait will be provided on site.

Trophies will be given out for first, second, and third place in each event for ages ten and under, 11-15 years, and 16 and up.

There will also will be door prizes, giveaways, and a day of fun and fellowship. Special guest speaker Tammy Weeks, will challenge all the ladies with a powerful message.

The Bummin’ Hole Lodge is located at 318 Home Harrelson Rd., Whiteville.
