Robert “Lee” Branson age 84, of Whiteville, passed on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation in Whiteville.
Services are incomplete and will be announced at a later date.
He was born in Greensboro, NC to the late Thomas A. Branson and Carrie Lee Brookbank Branson. He was also preceded in death by two siblings, Tommy Branson and Shelby Huff.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Elizabeth Cartrette Branson of the home; two daughters, Lacarla Roxanne Fones and her husband, Robert of Kernersville, Khari Lee Thornton of Jamestown; a son, Robert Kyle Branson (Kathy) of Whiteville; step-daughter, Denise Kiley (Jim) of Raleigh; step-son, Timothy Evans (Sue) of Fishkill, NY; a sister, Bonnie B. Thompson of Mooresville, IN; and extended family and friends.
Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family.
