Joshua Ront’e Smith, 36, of Lumberton and formerly of Whiteville, died Friday, August 13, 2021, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

A Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM Friday, August 20, at Campground Cemetery, 1309 Highway 701 Bypass North, Whiteville, by Pastor Leon Cromartie of Overcoming Faith Christian Center, Fayetteville. 

Walk-thru viewing will be Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville.

Surviving are his wife, Brandi Smith; sons, Chayse Smith of the home and Joshua Smith, Jr. of Whiteville; daughters, Tay-yanna Smith and Faith Smith of the home; mother and stepfather, Diane and Eric Simpson of Lumberton; father, Dennis Smith of Virginia; sister, Artesa McLean of Whiteville; brother, Anthony McLean of Lumberton.
