Jacqueline Sue Lowther Blackmon, age 73, of Bladenboro, died Friday, August 6, 2021, at Shoreland Health Care Center.  Jacqueline was born on April 11, 1948 in Clarksburg, WV to the late Jack Lowther and Mary Moore Lowther.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; James “Jimmy” Albert Blackmon and her daughter; Cynthia Denise Blackmon.

Jacqueline was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church in Bladenboro.  She worked as a cake decorator for over 30 years.

She is survived by her daughter; Michelle Blackmon Ward (Warren) of Whiteville, two grandchildren; Penny Lynn McDaniels (David) and Brittany Sue Daniels, and two great grandchildren; Alina Marie Daniels and Starlee McDaniels.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the McKenzie Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Russell Honeycutt and Rev. Robert “Bobby” Smith. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 10:45 PM prior to the service. Burial will be at Pinecrest Cemetery in Bladenboro.

McKenzie Mortuary is serving the Blackmon Family.
