November 24, 1943 ~ August 2, 2021 (age 77)

Mr. Jackie Edward Brock 77, of the Crusoe community, Whiteville went to meet his Lord and Savior on August 2, 2021 in UNC Chapel Hill. He was born November 24, 1943 in Columbus County, the son of the late Johnny Brock and Eva Mae Etheridge Brock.  

He was a very active member of Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church and loved the Lord with all his heart.   

He served in the North Carolina National Guard for 6 years. Mr. Brock enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing Blue Grass music.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Maxine Ward Brock; a son, Drew Brock and wife, Kelli of the Crusoe community; a sister, Jeanette King of Ash.                       

His funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jamey Ward and Rev. Al Milliken.  Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

His family will receive friends one hour prior to his service at the church.
