Glenn “Deryle” Key, age 61, of Tabor City, died Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Lower Cape Fear Life Care, Whiteville.  Born September 5, 1959 in Richland County, SC, he was the son of the late Tillman Arthur Key and Thelma Jean Niley Key Jones.

He is survived by two daughters: Melissa Ann Hooton of Bolivia and Tanisha Ashley Berry of Davidson; one sister: Karen Locklear of Tabor City; three brothers: Tommy Posey of Greenville, Chris Posey of Tabor City and Clay Thompson of Columbia, SC; and nine grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: James Key.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Old Tabor City Courthouse.
